You know what bites? The fact that I played Odin Sphere two years ago. It spoiled me, exposing me to what 2D graphics can be like. Makes Guilty Gear look less impressive in comparison. Sure, GG still looks good, but not as much as it did six years ago.
But that doesn't matter, because GG is fun. It's basically like Street Fighter, if only Street Fighter was fun. And had good music. And . . . yeah. (I never was a fan of Street Fighter.)
I've had the chance to try out all of the characters, including unlockables Kliff and Justice. Most of the fighters are pretty balanced. Some of them I suck with, but several of them I'm really good with. I particularly like playing as Ky, Slayer, and Chipp-Zanuff; fast guys good with combos, basically.
Oh, but that soundtrack CD, man. I already made MP3s of the tracks, but man, that soundtrack! It's like I'm a teenager again!

Duuuuuuuuuuuuude! Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus is sick like the shit! You can do mid-air dashes, special moves, super special moves, and even one-hit kill moves! And
*record stop*
"Um, xm, are you talking like That 90s Kid just now?"
Uhhhhhhhhh, no. Well anyways, you can also unlock conceptual artwork. What's interesting is the concept look doesn't look exactly like the in-game sprites. The in-game sprites are very anime-like, but the concept drawings aren't exactly anime in appearance. Their eyes are almost normal looking! But it's a cool feature.
I'm still working on unlocking stuff, learning the nuances of the game, and other things, but I'm having a blast. I'll be sure to tell you more, later.
