It's amazing the things you can get with utorrent. *whistles innocently*
With an English patch in hand, I bravely "got" the original uncensored version of Fate/Stay Night.
Now, I actually know a few things about FSN, since Tropers, DSers, Shrinemaiden goers, and My Anime List peeps won't shut up about the series.
For one, I already know a little bit about the character that is Rin Tohsaka. I see her everywhere . . . everywhere that knows about doujin, that is. I swear, she's almost like an unofficial mascot for Japanese independent PC games. (However, I think HakuReimu is more deserving of that title, but in a world without Touhou . . .) I also know who Saber is.
And because of the "GAR" meme, I know who Archer is. No word yet if I've become "Gay" for him yet.
And please don't tell me that people die when they're killed. Besides, that was from a fansub; a fansub of the anime adaptation of what originally a PC game. That line does not (as far as I know) exist in the English dub and official subtitled version. (P.S. I'm skipping the FSN anime and manga, just like I did with Tsukihime.)
And please keep your "Are you my master?" jokes to yourself.
With that said, I'm looking forward to FSN. Type Moon hasn't let me down yet.
Addendum: Rin looks awesome in her red jacket. We need more video game women like her; women with a killer sense in fashion.
Another Addendum: Shirou doesn't seem to be as stupid as the fanboys make him out to be. He's far from unlikable . . . for the most part.
Yet Another Addendum: This game is just beautiful. Even the intro movie is beautiful; just like a real (good) anime opener!

Stream of consciousness
Dear god, I finally have free time to write here? Well, I've had free time to write stuff elsewhere, (I even have a review of the anime version of Welcome to the NHK on myanimelist.net now) but not here, where I am master of the house. Some priorities I have.
By the way, you want something funny? Go to fanfiction.net, look up the Blaz Blue section, and check out chapters 2 and 3 of Ask Rachel Alucard. I now have responded to real submissions for my Question and Answer series! Isn't that great!?
Huh? Arcueid? Is that you? Are you the Arcueid? If so, how come you're in your chibi neko form?
Really? Uh, thanks for looking over the blog. Say, uh, why are you here, though? Is there something you wanted to say to me?
Uh, it's not one of the best fighters ever, but it's still pretty good. There's no story mode, though; I wanted more exposition. I know, that sounds weird coming from me, but I loved most of the writing of the original Tsukihime, and I wanted to see more of that.
Uh, you are aware that I find Akiha to be the most attractive girl in the franchise, right?
I wouldn't call it a fetish; I have been attracted to girls with light hair; just very rarely.
No. As of right now, I main Ciel.
It's true man; she kicks ass.
I liked it. It wasn't as powerful as Tsukihime, but I liked it. It introduced me to Len.
I have played that; too. There wasn't much to it. However, there was no way to sidestep the (one) nude scene in the fun disc.
Uh, no. It was an ink sketch, there wasn't that much detail! Besides, you know I don't care about boobs!
Bring it.

"Forget about Rachel! You don't need that uptight goth to make you feel better! You have me now!"
Huh? Arcueid? Is that you? Are you the Arcueid? If so, how come you're in your chibi neko form?
"Oh? So you recognize me? Good! I've been living in this blogspot of yours since you left; it's quite cozy here."
Really? Uh, thanks for looking over the blog. Say, uh, why are you here, though? Is there something you wanted to say to me?
"Why yes! I just scanned your hard drive (okay, Kohaku helped me, but still), and I found a copy of Melty Blood: Act Cadenza Version B on your computer! How is it?"

"Oh yes, that's right; I was the heroine of your favorite route, and the girl with the pancake boobs was your second-favorite."
Uh, you are aware that I find Akiha to be the most attractive girl in the franchise, right?
"Oh yeah, that's right; you're a dark hair fetishist."
I wouldn't call it a fetish; I have been attracted to girls with light hair; just very rarely.
"Uh huh. Say, speaking of fave chars, who do you 'main' in Melty Blood? Is it my beautiful self?"
No. As of right now, I main Ciel.
"WHAT WHAT WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!!!!????!?!?!?!?"
It's true man; she kicks ass.
". . . I think I better change the subject, nya. So, Kagetsu Tohya; what did you think?
I liked it. It wasn't as powerful as Tsukihime, but I liked it. It introduced me to Len.
"Yes, yes. What about the Tsukihime fun disc?"
I have played that; too. There wasn't much to it. However, there was no way to sidestep the (one) nude scene in the fun disc.
"UH OH! That means you've seen Satsuki's boobs! So tell me . . . did you like them?"
Uh, no. It was an ink sketch, there wasn't that much detail! Besides, you know I don't care about boobs!
"Hmm. You're very strange among men if that's the case, but I won't hold it against ya. (Unless you want me to, nya.) But I see you're acquainted with my series. I now have but one question left; are you ready for Fate/Stay Night?"
Bring it.

possible hiatus coming up
Dear god, this is the hardest semester I've ever had. I don't have time to do anything frivolous for the most part. Hence why updates have been very sparse here.
Okay, I might as well do it; I'm taking a break from internet communication until I finally have some free time again. Of course, that might not happen until the end of April, knowing my schedule, but I don't have time to be blogging or posting on forums at the moment. Yeah, I missed the 2nd anniversary of my blog because of homework. Oh joy.
I managed to update one of my fanfics recently, but I don't know if I'll be able to write anymore of those until the end of this semester.
By the way, I'm writing this on my new PC. Bought it with my own cash. The video card sucks, but everything else is great. It's got a 500 GB harddrive, and the LCD monitor I got for Christmas works perfectly on it. Older PC games run on it just fine, including Kagetsu Tohya. Yep, already trying out more Tsukihime stuff. I really wanna talk about that more, but I'm gonna have to put that on hold for the time being.
I still am able to find time to play KT, but not for anything else, leisure-wise, and I mostly talk about leisure stuff here. So . . . if you don't see me for the next two months, blame my desire to get community college over with.
