Forgive me, Tropers

Anyone who knows tvtropes knows that they have sections called, "Wild Mass Guessing," where people make guesses about stuff. Thing is, these guesses involve implausible crossovers, and overall zaniness. Nonetheless, I want to make a one-man WMG right now. There is something about one of the characters in Guilty Gear that I just can't help but notice. Here's my WMG:

Johnny is Duke Nukem.

No, really. How Johnny, er, Duke, got from our time to the late 22nd century is beyond my understanding. (Answer: Timelord.) Still, Duke went to the future, but we wanted to start a new life. He grew his hair out, put on some new clothes, took up Iaido, stopped using guns, brushed up his kickboxing, learned a few other martial arts moves, but still wanted to kick ass and chew bubblegum. And he's still all out of gum. And somewhere between all of this, Duke, er, Johnny, went from womanizing sexy women to womanizing cute girls. And Bridget. Because according to tvtropes, everyone is gay for Bridget. (I'm not, though. Sorry to disappoint.)

Why this WMG? Well, my god, look at the similarities between the two! Duke and Johnny are both badasses, are both womanizers, are both idolized by women, both have cool voices, both have dark shades that hide their eyes, and even their hair is blonde! But, Johnny doesn't have the buzzcut.

Oh, and speaking of characters, there are some GG characters I like. For example, I like May. Care to guess why?

"Uh . . . oh dear GAWD! You think she's cute!?"

YES!

"Oh wait, are you just saying that because she's a brown-eyed brunette?"

Uh, maybe. But seriously, she's adorable! And her theme song from the first GG just makes me so happy! Her theme in GG: XX isn't as good, in my opinion.

Oh, one last thing for now; let's see how many music references I can count.

Sol's bio: "Enjoys listening to Queen."

Eddie: named after Eddie Van Halen.

Axl: named and modeled (sort of) after Axl Rose.

Slayer: named after Slayer, the metal band.

A.B.A.: sounds like the name ABBA. (What the!? ABBA's not a rock group!)

When a round is finished, the announcer says, "Slash!" like the guitarist Slash.

And that's just all the references I caught. Look it up a Wiki or this cool fansite if you wanna know more.

Guilty Gear, a game made by headbangers, and for headbangers. I may not look like one, but I assure you, I'm a headbanger at heart.

(imitating Faust's voice) SAYONARAAAAA! HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!
