Come on, baby! Twist and Shout!

Oh man. I didn't watch just one disc today. Oh no. This, being my day off, I became ambitious. I watched disc four and five of Eureka Seven today. I'm just that hooked.

And yes, after episode 15, I finally started seeing new episodes, new for me, anyways. And, ya know what? This show was obviously inspired by Eva. I'm starting to see a little bit of Shinji in Renton right now. They both get depressed so easily, but I like Renton more. No, I don't think Shinji-kun is a wuss or anything like that, he just never struck me as a particulary interesting character. Not like Renton.

Eureka Seven; it's everything Neon Genesis Evangelion should've been! Take that, fanboys!

Well now, the last episode I saw was no. 22. The series has shown no signs of slowing down, not in the slightest. However, I will say, some of these episodes were really depressing. Like, made me very sad. The despair that Renton and Eureka were experiencing was putting me into a funk. Well, as much of a funk as a tv show can do to me, anyways. But, I did not stay depressed forever. I met new people.

Namely, Charles, and Ray.

Yes, the techno fanatic couple themselves. They're so cool! I can't describe them any other way! They're just so cool! And I love Ray's hair. (so I like women with nice hair, so what? Don't you think that's a nice change of pace from all the T&A fratboys out there?) Oh geeze, now I'm talking like Renton again. This series has really sunk its claws into me.

I guess that means there's only one thing left to do; watch more! Even though I might not get to do that until next week. Still, it'll be something to look forward to.

P.S. Not related to E7 in any way, but the last episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia was Hil. Fucking. LARIOUS! I am of course, referring to the two-parter where Mac and Charlie 'die.' So disturbing, yet so hilarious. What is wrong with me?
