Right to left

It has been entirely too long since the last time I purchased manga. So I bought some. I'll tell you all about them.

Fullmetal Alchemist Volume 18.

Good Winry Volume.

If you love Winry, then you'll love FMA 18; she undergoes significant character development in this volume. Not only that, another Homunculus is revealed! OMG, it's almost like Amestris is crawling with those things now! Another excellent volume from the pen of Hiromu Arakawa; she has yet to disappoint me.

XXXHolic Volume 13.

Man, this series just keeps getting better and better! There's more scenes with Kohane-chan, my favorite character, and there's a twist that I guarantee that no one will be able to predict. And the second half of the volume is a veritable Crowning Moment of Heartwarming that isn't forced nor unrealistic. And not only that, XXXHolic has what is probably CLAMP's best artwork, and they don't disappoint with this volume either.

Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle Volume 21.

Okay, this, like vol. 20, is not quite as good as Volume 16 though 19, but it is still enjoyable. There's some really epic battle sequences in this volume, so have some background music ready for when you're reading. (It makes quite a difference.) Lastly, if you people like Fai and Kurogane, you should enjoy this volume. In fact, it seems like most Tsubasa fans I know list either one of them as their favorite character. Not surprising, considering how awesome they are.

Neon Genesis Evangelion Volume 6.

This volume covers the manga's version of my favorite episode from the anime version; ep. 18. And guess what? The manga's version is even better, even more powerful. Are you sure you otakus want to keep ignoring the existence of the Eva manga? Because you're missing out on the best version of Eva if you do.

Neon Genesis Evangelion Volume 7.

What's this? Angst in an Evangelion manga? Who woulda thunk it!? Ya know something? Something's not right. The creators of Eva, Hideaki Anno and Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, have their own versions of Eva. Anno is the more well-known one, yet, based off my observations, Sadamoto is the more talented one. Huh, isn't that the way of the world?

So there you have it. Lots of good manga out there. I'm serious, guys; manga > anime, for the most part.

Oh. And readers; sometime in the near future, I will start collecting another manga series, one I've been meaning to collect for nearly two years now. What is it? You'll just have to wait until I've saved up some cash. But trust me, thing's are gonna get lively around here again come sometime soon. When? Probably after my vacation to Reno. But before I go back to school, come back here for some fun. Heh. Heh heh. Heh heh heh.
