There's something else I want to do with my Touhou fanfic.
It's this: have you ever noticed how the characters of Touhou always seem to look different depending on the artist? Ever noticed how they'll look different, even when they're drawn by the same artist? Yeah, especially you, ZUN. I understand, artists like to take creative liberties, and that's fine. It's just that, many details of a character's design get altered depending on who's drawing whom.
For example, Reimu. In the actual games, Reimu seems to fluctuate between having black hair, and dark auburn hair. Fan artists can't seem to decide whether she has black, brown, or auburn hair either. I've also seen her with somewhat light brown hair, as well as dark brown. And also, in the PC-98 Touhou games, Reimu had purple eyes and hair, and she wore an actual shrine maiden uniform too!
When I describe the Touhou characters, I will describe them as how I picture them in my mind. You'll get to see what kind of hair I think Reimu has, for example.
But yes, this is something else interesting about the Touhou franchise. The characters have a certain look, but details here and there will be altered depending on the artist. I've seen pictures of Hong Meiling with normal-sized breasts, as well as pictures of her with gag boobs, and I've seen pictures of Alice with red eyes, blue eyes, and brown eyes, and so on. The amount of fanmade material is almost on an unimaginable scale.
