So I hear the full version of the 12th Touhou game will come out sometime in the near future. I know what that will bring out: more music, more characters, more fan remixes, more doujinshi, more fanfics, more of everything. I'm eager just to hear the music.
I've also noticed people have some characters they like, and characters they don't like. For now, I'll say this: I have five favorite Touhou characters. They would be Marisa, Chen, Tei, Kaguya, and Youmu. My reasons for liking Marisa, Tei, Kaguya, and Chen should be obvious. (THE CUTENESS! IT'S OVERWHELMING MY SENSATIONS!!!!!) As for Youmu? She's a total badass. And her ghost-half gives her unique combat abilities. And also, I like her design. She's pretty, but not in a cute way, and neither in a sexy way either. You know who else is like that, in terms of visual aesthetics? Nausicaa. Oh my gosh, I just compared Youmu to my favorite female manga protagonist of all time. I'm losing it.
I have recently discovered Touhou webcomics via the Touhou Wiki. This must be the doujinshi people talk about. Some is better than others, but if you're bored enough, try it. I won't stop you. By the way, the Touhou wiki is fun! I've learned some interesting things from it.
