My ambition

If you have read the latest chapter of Endless Number of Possibilities, then you know what I plan to do with my life.

I discovered a website called SmashWords. It's a place where you can publish electronic books for money. There are some guidelines, (No fanfiction, no child porn,) but you can publish nearly anything, so long as you wrote it. Some authors have made a living through self-publishing. I intend to also.

However, Smashwords only pays out every quarter of the year. We're currently in the third quarter of the year and . . . I have nothing to publish! I will by next October, for sure, so then, I will become self-employed.

However, the catch with SmashWords is they don't market your books; you have to. To do this, I cannot remain anonymous by the time I publish. I will show my face and my true name. I will get a Facebook and a Twitter. And yes, I will even make Youtube videos. I'll also have a new blog, maybe a Blogspot, maybe not, I'm not sure, but this current blog will cease updating by the end of this year.

Now, know that I'll still write fanfiction, just not as much. I'm gonna finish my current story arc, and maybe write some more Touhou fics, but . . . the way of the future for me is original works I hope to live off of. This is no joke, by the way; this is my dream. I feared having to go through agents and publishers to get my original works published, but now . . . self-publishing ebooks just may be what makes me.

I will return to my usual blogging material later.

P.S. even when I start anew, I'll still keep blogging about my usual stuff; I just won't be anonymous anymore.
