You may've noticed that yesterday was April 1st. You may've also noticed that there is no entry on April 1st of last year either. There is a reason for this.
I do not use the internet on April Fool's Day. Unless if I absolutely have to.
This is something I learned the hard way; never use the internet on the first of April! I figured this out shortly after I became an internet junkie.
Oh yes, very clever of webmasters to take down all of their regular content, and replace it all with something they think is funny! Hurray! And not only that, some webmasters are chronically lazy, and forget to change back to their regular content days, sometimes weeks after April Fool's. This has been going on for a long time now, but I'm not falling for your hijinx anymore.
Because of my "no internet on April 1st" rule, that means not only do I not post on April Fool's, I also don't have to go through the trouble of coming up with a lameass joke that would obviously be a lie to any regulars viewers of this blog. So that means you don't have to suffer from these failed jokes of mine:
"OH NO! NOT (insert "Misa Amane", "Norma Beatty", or "Tohru Honda")!"
"Dude, I just downed some Heineken's. (or however you spell that. Whatever. It's a German beer manufacturer.) I'M SO WASTED!"
"Man, I am such a whore for the original Playstation. I make love to my PS1 every niiiiiight!"
"Peoples, that review of Slayers I wrote over a year ago? That was actually another satirical sketch of mine. In truth, Slayers is teh shiznits!"
Yeah. Aren't you glad I avoid this tradition?
