I just spent most of my allowance on an unopened copy of Fallout 3. Now the madness can continue! And now some more wasteland survival tips:
-Don't shoot 'til you the white of their eyes; works in this game, too. A tactic I like to use is equip the shotgun, encounter an enemy, wait for the enemy to charge at me, go into V.A.T.S., and blast its head off. Of course, some enemies will keep their distance if they have ranged weapons, but some foes will just blindly charge at you. Take advantage of that.
-The minigun is almost useless in V.A.T.S. It's best to use it in real-time. Only catch is, if you do that, you'll eat its ammo up fast. Best to use the minigun when confronted by multiple enemies and you have enough rounds to spare.
-For goodness' sake, don't use the Fatman at close range!
-If a foe is prepping a grenade, you can shoot out the grenade in V.A.T.S. and cause the grenade to splode in their face. Of course, that's a hard shot to make, but it's worth it. Just don't do such a trick shot in point-blank range.
The ISP changeover happens two days from now. I have between now and tomorrow night to score more Touhou MP3's. Be back.
