The time . . . IS NOW!

Hey, despite the fact that my family was not gonna do presents this year, well, guess what? That's not exactly true.

I am receiving one gift. Know what it is?

A Microsoft Xbox 360 Pro.

The future is now! I will finally be on the cutting edge of console games once again! I'll have to hold off on buying Persona 4, seeing as how I'm getting a NEW GAME CONSOLE!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh sure, we ordered it online, and it's not supposed to come until next Tuesday, but the anticipation is already killing me. By Monday, I'm gonna go ahead and rent some 360 games in time for Xmas. Oh yeah.

But, to keep myself occupied, I'm nearly finished with Mother 3. If the walkthrough is right, then I should be at the second-to-last boss of the game. It's been one hell of a ride. An RPG I played for the first time this year that's better than Persona 3. In fact, I'm gonna already go ahead and declare M3 the best game I played this year. It truly is a marvel of the gaming world.

And so, once I am done with M3, and since I may not get P4 for the time being, I can say goodbye to the PS2/GC/GBA/original Xbox generation finally . . . unless if I get Disgaea 2. But otherwise, I have made it official; of the three tv consoles out right now, it is Microsoft that has earned my family's spending dollar. More advanced than the Wii, and with a more noteworthy library than both the PS3 and Wii. Look out, Internet, here I come!

Now, let's just hope I don't get the Red Ring of Death. (even if that does happen, I can always replace the 360. And the detachable hard drive would enable me to start right back where I left off.)

Current mood: Ecstatic!
