"You rode with DCMC?"

I am now on chapter 5 of Mother 3. M3 is shaping up to be one of the best games I've ever played. Hell, it's already the best GBA game I've ever played. There's a chance I may like this game even more than . . . than . . .

"Final Fantasy IX?"

Quite possibly! The gameplay, story, and music remain top-notch. I also appreciate the sound test in the main menu. More RPGs need that. Only the Tales games and the first Star Ocean have such a feature. And KOTOR2, but its soundtrack sucks.

You can have up to four playable characters in M3, much like in M2. Four's a crowd, and a whole lotta fun, but some enemies can only be beaten with 4 party members. Such baddies appear whenever you have 4 characters. How convenient. I do like that, much like in Dragon Quest, if you die, but "never say die" in a sense, you can never truly get a game over. And if you have your money stored in a "bank", you won't lose money when you die, either. Awesome.
