My mind's in a Death Note state of mind right now. So much so, I did the unthinkable.
I watched Flash parodies of DN on Youtube. Some of it was really funny.
Yes, DN is my favorite anime series of all time, but I'll admit, it's not perfect. Misa is annoying, and a Mary Sue. Mello gets on my nerves, so much so, he deserves to die, and I hope he burns in Hell. The current episode on adultswim.com is confusing, and not very exciting. (Dear God, I've seen an episode that wasn't really good or totally effin' awesome! Oh, it's the end of the world as we know it!) And, the series could've ended at episode 27. We would've never have met Near if that were the case, but we all know Near is just an L wannabe. (Even then, Near is my second-favorite character, if only because of his L-ness. Wait, did I invent a new word just now?)
Yeah, but you can't say it's not at least intriguing as Hell.
But, it is fun to see fans make jokes about our beloved DN. I saw a music video depicting L and Teru Mikami as stereotypical gay men who wanted to get laid . . . with Light. I saw another one making fun of the potato chip line. I saw another where Mello was freaking out over chocolate. These DN fans are out of their minds.
Hey, maybe I should make a crappy online poll that measures, "How much L-ness do you have?" It will asks questions like, "Do you constantly eat snacks high in fats and sugar, yet remain rail-thin?" "Do you have bags underneath your eyes?" "Do you hold cell phones in an unorthodox manner?" "Do you have a dry and very dark sense of humor?" "Do you use a number of pseudonyms as you travel?" Too bad online polls are stupid.
