I'm still alive (not referencing Portal right now)

Hey Internet. Haven't updated in about a week; it's what happens when you're close to getting an Associate's degree.

Well, thing is, even though I have homework again, I somehow still have time for my leisurely pursuits. For one thing, I'm working on the next chapter of A Touhou Fanfiction About Nothing. Also, I actually got a PM asking Rachel Alucard about something! So I'm also in the process of writing the first true chapter of Ask Rachel Alucard.

By the way, even though I'm currently unemployed, I do get allowance from my parents and my grandmother. Lately, I've been saving it for something; a brand new PC. The PC I want is a desktop whose asking price is around 500 dollars. Yes, I really have quite a bit of pocket change right now, almost enough to buy that PC.

But before I do that, I wanted to play one last game on my current PC. I can't tell you what the game is, but when I'm finished with it, (yes, I said when, not if) then I will make the order final. Maybe then I might have also have enough cash for that computer.

You see, my current PC is a very good one. I've had it for 5 and a half years. Only within the last three or so months has it finally shown signs of entropy. However, because of that, that's why I haven't gone to the video store or bought anything, so that I can replace this computer when the time comes. Well, there is one thing I need; a new flash drive. I have a flash drive . . . that can only hold 256 MB of memory. I have another one . . . that can hold 64 MB of memory. I'm gonna need a bigger flash drive to properly port my stuff over to my new PC once I have it.

I have one component already; a brand new monitor. I got this new monitor for Christmas. Sadly, it does not work (properly) on my PC, yet works just fine on my dad's computer. (Our systems are like freakin' inverts of each other: my PC is circa 2004, Dad's is 2008, I have XP, he has Vista, my video and sound card are optimized for games made before 2006, his video and sound card suck for games, and yet, his PC has way more RAM than mine, as well as a way faster processor. His can use an LCD monitor like the one I got for Christmas, yet my PC shoots itself in the foot with an LCD, even though my PC can play Far Cry, and his can't! Yeah, I don't understand computer technology either.) But once I get my new PC, I will inherit my proper monitor, and Dad will just have to switch back to his older, smaller LCD screen.

But like I said, I'll only order this PC once I finish playing a game I downloaded. Again, I'm not talking about the game until I'm finished with it. Until then, stick around for fanfic updates for the time being.
